VFX Compositing - Frank Rueter
Frank started his vfx carreer as a 3D artist at a company called upstart! in Wiesbaden in 1997 and drifted into compositing using Shake in 1999. Since then he has worked at companies like Digital Domain and Weta Digital on projects such as Return of the King, King Kong, Flags of Our Fathers, Rise of The Planet of the Apes and numerour others. He has worked as lead compositor, supervisior, technical director and consultant in Germany, USA, Australia and New Zealand.
Since moving to Wellington in 2003, New Zealand has been home for Frank but he continuous to travel and offer remote work whenever possible.
OHUfx is Frank's ambition to create a collaborative of like minded artists whos skill sets complement each other in order to provide professional services as well as a nurturing environment for independent film and other creative projects.
